In September 2022 Butlins submitted a planning application for a state-of-the-art activity centre.
Fast forward to today and IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING! If you’ve visited Bognor Regis resort recently, you might have noticed PLAYXPERIENCE starting to take shape (it’s pretty hard to miss!) and they can’t wait for the grand opening on Monday 2 September 2024.
Covering nearly 50,000 square feet, the two-storey building will soon be home to nine immersive experiences for kids and big kids alike. We’re talking:
- themed escape rooms,
- high-tech mini golf,
- digital darts,
- laser tag,
- and loads more!
SKY PARKS: MULTI ACTIVITY OUTDOOR PLAY
Butlin’s SKYPARK is coming to Minehead and will be open in time for summer.
Families will be able to enjoy this incredible £2.5million investment that’s been designed for inclusivity, interactivity and illumination.
Six zones based on positive play emotions will include brand-new features such as:
- the UK’s longest swingline at 42metres,
- a wheelchair accessible seesaw and trampolines
- two light-up intertwining slides.
With two play spaces to choose from SKYPARK Minehead has a continued focus on sensory features including a place of calm in the unique Sound Dome playing 18 relaxing sounds.
